Aaron A. Rosenblatt

Mr. Rosenblatt is a Principal of Gordon & Rosenblatt, a consulting firm specialized in the science, technology, and regulation-compliant use of chemical disinfection, especially in regard to water treatment. In recent years, his professional practice has focused increasingly on microbial risk management in the built environment.

Mr. Rosenblatt is an Advisor to NSF International on programs pertaining to HACCP for Building Water Systems, and is a member of the NSF International Biofilms Protocols committee. He also is a member of ASHRAE Standard Project Committee 188, Prevention of Legionellosis associated with Building Water Systems. He has served on the Board of the International Ozone Association-Pan American Group (IOA-PAG). He also has served as a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Disinfection and Disinfectants Committees and the Microbial and Disinfection By-Product (M/DBP) Technical Advisory Workgroup (as chair of the chlorine dioxide subgroup), during regulatory negotiations for USEPA M/DBP Rule II. He is a past Trustee of the Chemists’ Club of New York and past Chairman of the Chemists’ Club Library. Mr. Rosenblatt is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (BA).
