FRO (free residual chlorine) continuously. 2 – software error, data lost,
new updated software installed. 3 – Biocide treatment stopped; thickness
of biofilm on heat exchanger surfaces had increased from about 50 μm
to over 300 μm biofilm thickness because there was no chlorine applied
during the period 3-4. At 4 – Begin 10 ppm FRO from sodium hypochlorite
continuously for 8hrs; biofilm removal begin almost immediately and
microbial control was restored within the first day.
The HACCP Plan Document
The HACCP plan document must indicate 1) the locations at which
hazard control is applied (the CCPs), 2) the critical limits for each CCP,
3) the monitoring method to be used at each CCP, 4) the frequency of
monitoring, 5) the corrective actions specified for violation of a critical
limit, 6) where the verification records are located and 6) specification of
the verification procedure. An example for a major healthcare facility in the
US is given in Table 6.

document for a hospital buildingwater system(Adapted fromKraegschmidt
