of Education, Information, Government Relations and International promotion of
LEED Certification. Since June 2012, Mr. Faria is part of the USGBC LEED Steering
Committee, a group of volunteer and staff who work in the maintenance and ongoing
development of the LEED certification, as the leading certification tool in the world,
preserving its System integrity and ensuring consensus involving LEED certification.
Since August 2013, Mr. Faria is part of the Advisory Council of ICLEI Brazil - ICLEI
is the leading global association of local governments to promote public policies
focused on sustainable development.
