The indoor air environments have to receive proper mechanical
treatment to become agent of comfort, quality and preservation of life.
This treatment is connected to a well-designed project to choose the
best equipment, installation and maintenance method within the technical
norms in practice, with special care to the filtration systems, which are
responsible for stopping possible impurities and pathogens; a network of
air distribution provided with air distributors homogenously placed in all
the acclimatized environments, and a network of pipelines that is cleaned
with the required frequency to be free of any dirt.
Scientists from Brazil and abroad state categorically that pollution in
indoor environments cause occupational, infectious and allergic diseases
and aggravates pre-existing illnesses with onus to the society, as it is the
case of
Legionella
, an invisible harm.
In Brazil,

is still little known. Information is the best way to
prevent the contamination of the population. That is why it is important to

in the agenda of public policies.
Action in the legislative
To create the Health condition for all, it is essential to think in the
development of public policies. Being still in the early stages, but with all the

of Health Surveillance) have monitored the
