qualified technician responsible for implementing and maintaining in the
property a Plan of Maintenance Operation and Control adopted for the

According to technical guidance of Anvisa, they recommend referential
standards of indoor air quality at acclimatized environments for collective
and public use as a complement to the basic measures, to serve the purpose
of recognition, evaluation and control of the quality of indoor air in air-
conditioned environments.
There are no statistical data yet on
Legionella
available in our country.
The Brazilian public health has been working on the question, but there is
still little disclosure about this bacterium. In face of this, the debate of the
existence of
Legionella
and the consequences of its existence to the human
health is fundamental, both in the public area of Health Surveillance and in
the academic area, with the universities developing researches in the sector.
Both areas can lead the way for the Legislative and the Executive in the
entire country to go in search of results and the best methods, actions and
policies in the public sector for the implementation of health care services
to the population.
